Stolas is based on the demon from the Ars Goetia, the Great Prince of Hell Stolas, who is also depicted as a crowned owl with long legs. The angle of the trajectory in which Blitzo is thrown into the dumpster is shown to be within a small alley northeast of Ozzie's, which would not make sense as he is animated to look as if he has been thrown straight into the dumpster's lid from the entrance of the establishment.
