Wire Rope News - December 2023 - Flipbook by Wire Rope News
The 19 x 19 construction makes this wire rope easy to handle and flexible. While similar in construction to a 19 x 7 steel cable, the compacted strands in the 19 x 19 make it stronger and more flexible. Compacting of the strands also increases abrasion resistance, making it more resistant to crushing and allowing it to spool better. Resists spinning while under load, offering better spin-resistance than typical 8 strand wire rope products such as those in the 8 x 19 and 8 x 25 classes.
